Thanks to the creativity of the 175th Anniversary Dance Committee from Holy Name of Mary Parish and plenty of community support, the Rock N’ Roll FUNdraiser at the Almonte Civitan Community Hall was a raging success.
More than 225 people took to the floor to show off their twist, shake, shimmy and loop-de-loop moves to the sounds of the Star Tools. All profits from the dance were generously donated to the Almonte General Hospital – Fairview Manor Foundation and Hub Hospice Palliative Care.
On behalf of everyone at Hub Hospice, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to the many volunteers who helped bring this event to life. A special thank you to the Star Tools for their generosity and for sharing the gift of music.
