Musical Therapy in a Medical Setting
Music therapy is a healing mechanism used by accredited music therapists. By skillfully using music, accredited therapists help individuals improve their health — physical, emotional, psychological, emotional and spiritual. Dr. Cheryl Jones (PhD – Music and Health Sciences, University of Toronto) discussed several effective uses of musical therapy in a medical setting during a public event held in March 2018.
