The “Tea in the Garden” event, sponsored by St. George’s Anglican Church in support of Hub Hospice Palliative Care is only a week away! If you want to enjoy what promises to be a lovely afternoon in a park-like garden near Almonte, you need to get your tickets, which are by advance sales only.
This drop-in tea is being held between 2 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018 (rain date is Sunday, June 24).
Wear your summer hat, or wear one of ours, while enjoying your tea and homemade goodies. Bring your grandmothers, mothers, daughters, in-laws, grandchildren, and friends for a fun girl’s outing.
After you’re finished your tea, you can stroll around the beautiful gardens at your leisure.
All proceeds will be donated Hub Hospice Palliative Care, to assist in furthering their important work. Hub Hospice Palliative Care is a “hospice without walls.” Trained volunteers provide comfort, compassion and support to our patients, their family and caregivers in North Lanark. They cannot operate without the generous support of the community. There is a continuing need for this service and the need is growing as our population ages.
So, come, enjoy a lovely afternoon and help support this worthwhile cause.
For further information, please check the Hub Hospice Palliative Care website (www.hubhospice.com), and/or St. George’s Anglican Church Clayton website (stgeorgechurchclayton.webs.com).
